Corey wants a U.K. number one

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman, Mr “I want to slit your throat and f*ck the wound” Corey Taylor, has joined the other pop artists in their bids for a U.K. Christmas number one. Not sounding desperate at all, Santa Taylor, has promised fans a “huge surprise” if they do get him to the top spot in the U.K.

His biggest rivals come from the X Factor winner, John Cage‘s 4 minutes and 33 seconds of silence, Trashmen‘s Surfin’ Bird (they have good taste in the U.K.) and basically every single other song that’s currently in the top 75.

Check out the video for the song after the jump, or read more information over at Blabbermouth.

The Dancing Queen is back

Not only is Vince Neil ice skating on live TV, essentially taking a dump on his legacy and dignity, but he’s also quite bad at it, too.

But those two negative things are evened out by the two hot blondes he was walking with the other day. He was asked about Steven Tyler‘s American Idol gig but I wasn’t paying attention. The milf on the left got all my attention.

So if that’s what you get for whoring yourself on national TV and embarrassing yourself, your friends and your family, it’s worth it. Where do I get my skates, yo?

Lemmy says Lennon was an asshole

Lemmy seems to have an opinion on everybody, including the late John Lennon.

He was always the asshole of the band. He was always the one that was really unpopular with everybody that bleerhark aadeenn abouut causeennnsaid Lemmy of Lennon, or at least I think it’s what he said cause I couldn’t understand most of the sentence, hence my phonetic interpretation.

It’s not all bad though, Lemmy has nothing but love for The Beatles, and thanks to Blabbermouth, I got this quote transcribed and translated from Lemmish to English:

The Beatles were massive. They changed the world. The generation that was with me, which includes me, we genuinely believed we could make the world better and we failed because the world’s so full of shit.

Interview: Chuck Billy (Testament)

Thanks to Natalie Camillo, I got to do an email interview with the man, the legend Chuck Billy of Testament.

Actually it wasn’t an email interview per se. I sent my questions via email, Ms. Camillo asked Billy the questions via phone and she sent me the answers back. Sounds complicated? Well, I can barely turn on my Xbox 360 without getting confused, so all this technology and electronic mail thingy is making my head spin.

The Damned Streams

The Damned Things is an interesting band. It has members of Anthrax and Fall Out Boy in it. Listening to one of those bands will make you cool. Listening to the other one will get you beaten up in school. So it’s safe to say that streaming these guys’ debut album will get the bullies to beat you up then take you out for a beer. Or the other way around.

Needless to say, you can stream their album here. I personally didn’t give it a listen, I hate listening to albums without the actual CD being out. Granted, I never buy music, but still it’s nice to know the CD is out before illegally downloading it.

Watch their music video after the jump, too, if you want.
