Speaking of Evile…
The band have released a brand new song, ‘Eternal Empire’ for streaming. The song comes from Evile‘s forthcoming album Five Serpent’s Teeth, which, as I mentioned earlier, is scheduled for release September 26 (and much earlier in Europe).
Want to hear the new song? It’s s available for streaming at here and free e-mail sign-up is required first. I’d check it out, but I don’t have the attention span to go through that process, just embed a Youtube clip dammit!
Back when they were still good
Just kidding 😛
This is back in the days when Robb Flynn had a bit of a semi for Fred Durst (if you’re reading this Robb, please don’t kill me), but luckily the band are back to their ass kicking selves. The new, as yet untitled, album is scheduled for release in September 2011. If it’s anywhere near as good as 2007’s The Blackening, we’re in for another real treat.
Start your week with…
…A plague to End All Plagues!
Don’t start your week with a wank, get a girlfriend instead you sad fuck! That’s what I told myself this morning, but enough about that, and more about Metal. This week, I advise you start your week with this epic tune from Evile.
The band’s forthcoming album, Five Serpent’s Teeth, is scheduled for release September 26th, 2011 through Earache Records.
Weak Recap: First Class
Hey, guess who’s back, it’s those regular superheroes of the Metal community, Mark and Guido. Once again, we’ll be recapping what we’ve been up to this past week (usually a combination of sleeping, eating and masturbation – we all lead interesting lives here at Dose of Metal).
So, basically it’s that time of the week when someone massages my ego, I then in turn massage their ego, then they massage my… You know what, doesn’t matter. Make the jump to see my awesome interview with the awesome Guido.
Video of the Week: Cannibal Corpse
The titletrack of Cannibal Corpse’s eleventh studio album, Evisceration Plague, was released with a video in early 2009. This song just might included the most evil sound known to man. Every riff just screams “I’m evil!” (not “Am I Evil”).
So, enjoy your Sunday. I hope it’s sunny wherever you are and when you blast the song above, the sky turns black. BRUTAL!
