Just replace “youth” with “aging has-been” and you should get the idea…

Apparently Sebastian Bach, former member of Skid Row, but mostly known as the BFF of Axl Rose (he’s not too well known anymore, hence why he has to wear a tshirt with his own name written on it – see above picture), was arrested on Monday. Footage of Bach getting violent, being restrained and eventually arrested, has made its way onto the internet (thanks to TMZ.com).

Or why did you trick me into giving your music a chance by labelling it Prog, when it’s anything but Prog? Or how did you trick me into reading this news when I could be busy watching porn?

If so, you can submit them to Metal Hammer, and the band will answer some of the questions in the next edition of the magazine (I’d guess).

Atheist drummer's got skills

Drummer Steve Flynn of the technical metal band Atheist is showing off his technical skills, on the song “Fradulent Cloth“. I’ve also got some tech skills, give me a keyboard and I’ll show you how fast I am. I wonder which one of us gets more girls? Who’s cooler now?

Piano Metal

Keys make everything sound better, agree? Heh, who the heck cares about what you think. I love the sound of a piano and how nicely it works with metal.

See Be’lakor’s ‘Paths,’ Debauchery’s ‘Take my Pain,’ (Double Bass Drums + Strings + Piano = Instant orgasm)  or Haggard’s ‘Awaking the Centuries’ for great metal songs, of three different sub-genres by the way, that include the piano.

That’s not what I’m talking about though when I say Piano Metal. What I mean is metal songs covered on a piano. YouTube is plastered with covers but certain covers really do it for me and actually at times make the cover sound better than the original.
