Nergal a TV judge?
Nergal, the iconic frontman of the Polish Blackened Death Metallers Behemoth has allegedly signed on to be a judge on Poland’s version of the “hit” American singing competition ‘The Voice’.
Personally, I’ve never heard of ‘The Voice’, but I’d watch a version of what sounds like a shitty American Idol/X Factor rip off in a heart beat for the novelty of seeing Nergal on commercial television. Then I’d shout “sell out” at the TV, because it’s the cool thing to do.
Blabbermouth have more on this story. I’m too busy listening to Demigod to really care.
The Swedish Metallica gig (updated)
Metallica played a show in Gothenburg (Sweden) and it was shown on TV. Well, this is the internet, so someone ripped it and put it on YouTube. Unfortunately the sound is kind of weak (even though it’s pro shot) and it’s not really HD. But can’t be picky, right?
I’m not gonna embed all those videos in here, as it would get pretty confusing (like my sexuality) so here’s the setlist. Click each song to view the performance. Awesome, right?

Watch Gojira live
Watch Gojira live. Why? Because I said so bitch!
The above footage is fan-filmed video footage of Gojira‘s entire performance at the FortaRock festival, which was held July 2, 2011 at Park Brakkestein in Nijmegen, Holland.
Now, if you excuse me… *fap* *fap *fap*
Who are Ghost?
Apparently there’s some mysterious Swedish buzz band creating quite a bit of hype in the Metal world, called Ghost. Who are they? They dress like me when I go to work (which might explain why I’ve been fired from my last 3 jobs – since I’m not a Satanic priest) and perform some bizarre sort of 70’s Prog Rock mixed with Black Metal.
They don’t sound particularly good in the above video, so they’re probably just some randomers. Apparently James Hetfield likes them though, so they must be good.
Evile Gaga
Ok, I’m not sure why, how, who, or what in God’s name this is, but it seems that Ol Drake of British Thrashers Evile decided to record a Metal version of Lady Gaga’s hit ‘Born This Way’. I was quite happy in my ignorance not knowing or ever having heard of the song, but Ol Drake changed that damn him, because morbid curiosity got the better of me.
Why Drake? Why?
