Headlines!

It’s time for more headlines. News that aren’t worth individual posts. Wait, I shouldn’t have said that, right? Oh well…

Adler’s Appetite revealed their new line-up. Problem is, I didn’t even know who was in the band before and well, I don’t give a shit either. But anyhow, Patrick Stone is their new vocalist and Lonnie Paul will be playing the guitar from now on. Woop de doo.

All Shall Perish announced the title of their upcoming album and it’s going to be called… drumroll please… ‘This Is Where It Ends’ and I can only hope so.

When asked how far into writing a new album Mastodon have been so far, Brann Dailor (drums) said this in an interview:

“It’s coming along really good. We’re just about done. I’m excited to get into the studio and start recording.”

Jamey Jasta recently talked a bit about his upcoming solo album. Here’s what he had to say:

“It’s just more of the thrash and rock element in it. I think there’s a lot more clean singing than I’m used to doing. It’s a lot of stuff that I recorded for other artists, but it ended up sounding cool so I just left it in there. My engineer was really liking the stuff that I was doing. I still have a lot of guest parts on there — Randy Blythe from Lamb of God, Zakk Wylde, Phil Labonte , Tim from As I Lay Dying, Mark Morton from Lamb of God — so it’s just like a fun project before we do the next Hatebreed album.”

And last but not least, the Big Four were presented with double platinum (pictured above) plaques for the Big Four DVD. Picture of the happy guys after the jump.

Adler lost his Appetite

Steven Adler

Poor Steven Adler, he just can’t get a break. Not only are Axl and the remaining (former) Guns N’ Roses members not returning his phone calls, now the singer and guitarist for Adler’s Appetite have quit the band. And the worst of all, the 80s called and said they want their hair back.

Actually, this last one might be a good thing.

Christmas comes early

Yes, you read that right, Christmas will be coming early. Well, for all 4 of Steven Adler‘s fans (who by coincidence are also in his band) that is, because Adler’s Appetite will be releasing, not one, but two brand new singles on Christmas Eve.

Steven Adler was in Guns N’ Roses and recorded drums for Appetite for Destruction, in case by some miracle you managed to escape Steven‘s 4 million and 25 hundred posts about how he was in GnR and how the original lineup (including himself) really need to reunite. Funny that it’s the one that really needs the money that wants the comeback…

If by some miracle you actually care, you can find more info here.

Adler's Appetite for Europe

Glorified Guns N’ Roses tribute band, led by former drummer, Steven Adler, Adler’s Appetite have confirmed a European tour for 2011.

For those that don’t know, Adler’s Appetite are a little like the other GNR tribute act out there, but instead of being led by the former ginger singer, this one’s led by the former ginger drummer (is he ginger? He has weird hair regardless).

If you want to check out a glorified Guns N’ Roses tribute band destroy old classics on stage, I’d recommend seeing Guns N’ Roses Adler’s Appetite. Maybe they’re good actually… Dates after the jump.
