Learning bad songs on guitar
“Pop metal” band Bullet For My Valentine, who happen to be one of the worst mainstream metal bands out today, have released a guitar tab book to their loyal 14 year old fans. The book consists all 11 tracks from their most recent album “Fever,” which was released earlier this year.

Anselmo still talks about Pantera
Phil Anselmo talks a lot about Pantera and especially Dimebag lately. I don’t think it has anything to do with the re-release of Cowboys from Hell. Naaaaah, not at all.
Anyhow, Anselmo talked some crap about Megadeth in an interview with Mog Music Network but the most interesting part of the interview was this:
“If Dimebag Darrell was alive today, I would guarantee with all my heart that we would have already been back together.“

When asked for comment, Dimebag Darrell wasn’t available.
Simon Wright performs with Airbourne
Comparisons to AC/DC are a bit unfair for Airbourne. They don’t really look like AC/DC, they don’t really sound much like AC/DC, it’s not like they’re also from Australia, and it’s not like any members of AC/DC are performing with them…
Oh wait, nevermind, because apart from the fact they look and sound like AC/DC and they’re also from Australia, former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright recently joined Airbourne on stage on September 17, 2010 at the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival in Irvine, California.

Blast From The Past: Black Sabbath – Black Sabbath (1970)
Black Sabbath‘s first album Black Sabbath, including the first song Black Sabbath. Innovative. It may not sound innovative but it was.
A lot has been written about Black Sabbath’s debut album, one of the first metal albums, but it hasn’t been given a lot of crap. That’s what we’re here for. Read on after the jump.
Head spreads the word…
Ex Korn guitarist, Brian ‘Head’ Welch (the one that left because the voices inside his head told him to) was recently interviewed for Iowa based radio station, Lazer 103.3.
The guitarist turned solo-artist turned writer, is once again spreading the word of God and Christianity, by releasing another much needed book about Christianity (and by much needed, I mean not needed at all).
Of course, he’s not doing this for free, that wouldn’t be the Christian way. If you fancy changing your life around and submitting yourself to God, simply send your money Head’s way, and he’ll “cure” you. Head will release his new book, “Stronger: Forty Days Of Rock, Jesus, And Salvation”, on November 30 via HarperOne.
