BBC Escape Plan
If you like bands with crappy names who scream a lot, The Dillinger Escape Plan should be right up your alley. Apparently they did some BBC session or something, I stopped reading halfway through so you figure it out, Einstein.
“At BBC in UK recording a session now….haven’t done one since 2004…will let you know songs and airtimes soon…. London tonight. Last ten days of tour…home stretch of devastation.

Voodoo Circle have a new album
Voodoo Circle are a band no one heard of. They will release an album nobody will listen to. That’s about it, really, but news is slow on a Sunday evening so there you go.
“Voodoo Circle, the German/British band featuring members of Primal Fear and Pink Cream 69, will release its sophomore album, “Broken Heart Syndrome”, on February 25, 2011 via AFM Records. The CD, which was once again mixed and mastered by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Krokus), is described in a press release as “a huge step forward and shows the band’s boundless musical possibilities.“

Sounds pretty promising. I’ll check it out. Honestly… Right after a time traveling machine is invented. Cross my heart and hope your mom dies.
Some Saturday interviews
So let’s have a round up of the interviews today.
Slash, former guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, and most recently seen playing with his solo band, has stated recently that if a GNR reunion were to happen, they’d have to do things differently this time (well duh). He also wasn’t impressed with a parody that depicted himself as Axl Rose‘s dog. Read more here.
Rob Halford was also interviewed. He was probably promoting his new album, titled Made of Metal (although the album cover makes it look anything but Metal). Again, more here.
Some guy from a band I had hoped disappeared long ago also did an interview. Drowning Pool are the band, and the guy’s name I’m too lazy to go check. In case you care, click here.
Finally, Marilyn Manson, Machine Head, and Puddle of Mudd were all interviewed at Dimebash. Now, I understand why Machine Head were there, but Marilyn Manson? Puddle of Crudd? Oh dear… Click here.
Metallica interview will blow your mind
Well, not really, but I wanted to get your attention, especially if you see this on Twitter or Facebook and go “Holy shit, I wonder what they say!!!” and you click frantically (fran-tic-tic-tic..) waiting to see what’s up, and then you see it was just a cheap journalistic trick and you start insulting my mother… Anyways…
Remember Metallica played (what I would call) a private corporate gig basically? They had a short setlist and you can look at shiny pictures of the event here, here, here and here.
But make the jump and watch an interview with them, from the same event.
Steven Tyler isn't a Kid Rock fan
A couple of days ago Kid Rock called Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler out for his decision to be part of American Idol. Now, at a press conference Tyler said the following, after being asked what he thought of Rock’s comments;
“He’s just jealous, he’s just jealous. And he’s working his new record, so God bless him.”
Video after the jump.
Interesting, eh? What’s more interesting to me is that Tyler, in the above picture, looks like the result of someone crossing an ape and a leather couch.
