BMTH bring the noise
Fashioncore band, Bring Me The Horizon, were recently interviewed by Bring The Noise, which sounds like a match made in heaven, since the only thing BMTH bring, is noise (pollution). Ha, I crack myself up…
Apparently my idol Rob Halford likes BMTH, but then he also likes men, so to each their own I guess. Check out the interview after the jump.
Lordi drummer unmasked = No more Lordi drummer
Lordi drummer Kita (Sampsa Astala) chose to unmasked herhimself for her his side project Stala So.. The rest of Lordi seemingly don’t want people to know that Lordi consists of real human beings so Kita got the kick.
In my opinion, Sampsa Astala (what a shit name) could easily still be part of Lordi, masked or unmasked. Make what you want of that statement. Picture after the jump. I’m tempted to put a NSFW warning here but there’s no nudity in there, just ugliness.
Rob Zombie breaks world record
Rob Zombie has achieved the impossible: he has beaten Linkin Park when it comes to the number of released live/compilation/remix and other non studio albums.
His 12th compilation album, Icon, updates his “best of” with songs from his last studio album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2, just like a George Lucas movie gets updated whenever the graphics have evolved a bit more, or there’s a new gimmick to try out. Learning more from Lucas, Zombie has also released two versions of the album: a single CD 12-track version, and a 24-track double album consisting of an extra CD filled with White Zombie songs.

New songs!
Don’t get excited, you probably don’t care about these two Nordic bands. We don’t. Well, I don’t. But then again, I don’t care about anything except bestiality porn, so you might want to find a different standard to compare yourself to. Although I do have awesome genitals. More on that, later.
For now, Danish metal band Descensus (pictured above) released not one but TWO songs online. OMFGWOWZA!!11– They’re called “Death Affection” and “Slaves Of Conformity” and they can be found on the band’s MySpace page.
Not to be outdone, Finnish metal band O X i S T (stands for zero exist, get it? got it? great. awesome) also released some song called “Old World Vanished” on their MySpace page.
Metal/humor website Dose of Metal also have a MySpace page now. They aren’t releasing shit and probably hate you, but befriend them nonetheless or forever burn in hell.
Incoming: Kailin
For fans of: I have no idea – Melodic Death Metal? Hardcore? Experimental Metal?
So, you’re probably wondering who Kailin are right? Actually, you probably aren’t, but you damn well should be! The answer is… Honestly, I have no fucking idea, but these guys somehow managed to make it onto my Facebook ‘like’ list, and after checking out their new song, I’m glad they did.
Hailing from my hometown, Worcester, UK, from a look of the band’s Facebook page, Kailin are a band full of personality and passion for the music they play. They have one demo available at the moment, titled Colours, which you can check out after the jump. The song is very promising, displaying some great diversity (always good to see from new talent). The track shifts from aggressive Metal into some fantastic ambient moments, without losing any of its cohesion or aggression. I definitely look forward to the debut EP/LP/whatever the band decides to release, and you should too.
More info after the jump.
