Pretty Hate Stream
Nine Inch Nails‘ current rip-off project, the re-master/re-release of their first album, “Pretty Hate Machine” has been posted online for streaming. It also contains an extra track, a cover of Queen‘s “Get Down, Make Love“. Get down, check the link, and play a game of “spot 10 differences” between this and the original.
Helloween are big in Japan
Not really, but put this song in your head, didn’t I? I actually like that song, but then saw Alphaville live and almost got ear cancer.
Anyway, yeah, Helloween released a new album and the results are in! Well, how can I put this? They’re no AC/DC… They sold 1,900 copies in the United States.

Scorpions and Opeth at Hellfest
Scorpions (pictured above), Ozzy Osbourne, Opeth, Black Label Society and many others have been confirmed for next year’s Hellfest, taking place July 17-19, 2011 in Clisson, France.
Poster with all bands attending, after the jump. More info at the official site.
Jingle bells, Slipknot smells…
Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Stone Sour and The Powerpuff Girls is releasing a Christmas song. Really? I guess he wants to be up there with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez cause I’m sure they’re also releasing stuff this Christmas.
The song is apparently called “X-M@$” and is gonna be dirty. Although I’m sure he means it’s gonna be ‘c|1r7y,’ cause obviously Corey‘s obviously down with the leet ASCII crowd.
Anyway, apparently it’ll be out December 4th and no other info is available. Nor needed. Nor cared for.

Santana's guitar is gently weeping
Because it misses some original songs, you know. And what is the one thing rock and metal musicians do when they want to show how “serious” and “mature” their music is? Hire some symphony orchestra to play random background noise to their music. What do you get when you mix these two? Carlos Santana‘s new project. Details after the jump.
