Are you ready for new Slaves On Dope?
In 2009, nu metal has-beens Slaves On Dope announced they were reforming to record their third studio album, ‘Over the Influence‘, which is hitting stores this spring. They released a bunch of videos on their official social network sites over the last two years and recently, they uploaded a new promotional video from their more recent ‘No More Faith tour’, hoping you guys get “hyped” up for their upcoming release.
I’m not really sure why they are back. I mean, it’s not the year 2000, they aren’t working with Ozzy Osbourne anymore, and definitely won’t sell 70,000 albums like they did with their debut, so I’m rather confused with the return.
I wish them well, though, I really do! They aren’t my taste, but I’d much rather listen to them than to this comedy act.

Get your dose of Destruction
German Thrash Metal giants Destruction (God, I sound like I’m writing for Blabbermouth) are going to release their new album ‘Day of Reckoning’ next week on February 18 in Europe and on March 8 in the States.
Can’t wait for the album but don’t feel like illegally downloading the album? Well, Destruction are now streaming the entire album on Facebook. So Facebook is good for something else than some shitty movie with a shitty soundtrack, I see.

Two things you didn’t need to know about Ozzy
It seems that Ozzy really misses his reality TV show, because ever since it got canceled, he’s been making up for it by bringing us all sorts of personal matters via other media. This week we found out that:
1. Ozzy is an emo
When Ozzy, his wife Sharon and of their daughters were watching the movie The Notebook, he felt the tears welling up. “I’m sitting on the bed and I’m thinking I can’t let me daughter see me cry but it gets your heart,” he said. “I’m not really the prince of darkness. I’m a loving, cuddly guy.”
2. Ozzy might change his name to Oxxxy
He also said that his love life was in good shape: “I firmly believe that the only time you’ll ever get any peace from down below is when you’re in the ground. I’m almost 62 and I still love a good old game of ‘Where’s the salami?’”
