AC/DC live album and DVD

AC/DC are a great live band and thus any DVD they release is bound to be amazing. Fact. Also, I’m pretty handsome. Fact.

“We’ve got a new live album which we shot in Argentina at the end of the last tour, which was about September. There was 300,000 people there, and it was just wonderful. We had about 12 cameras there and a great sound crew, and we just enjoyed the heck out of it.  […] The live album comes out, with the video of those concerts, in about six weeks or something. So I’m looking forward to that.“ said Brian Johnson in an interview.

Umm so Blabbermouth posted this but without any actual proof so if they’re wrong, we’re wrong. In other words, if this isn’t true, we’ll just blame them.

The concerts Brian talking about are from December of 2009. Three sold out gigs of about 65,000 people each. I’m no math genius but 65,000 x 3 = 195,000. So Brian is off by 105,000 people in his estimation. Also, fans usually buy tickets to all the consecutive gigs so I’m pretty sure most of the crowd stayed about the same. So hardly the ‘300,000 people’ he was talking about.

Why would you need to exaggerate crowd figures when you’re in AC/DC? It’s like Shaquille O’Neal wearing high heeled shoes to make himself look taller. Or myself getting penis enlargement surgery. When your numbers are already huge, no need to go over the top.

Iron Maiden will release a book. When? In May. What about? Their studio time. Why? $$

What’s better than listening to your favorite album by your favorite band? Seeing your favorite band live. And what’s better than spending your day watching midget porn? Nothing… uh… I wanted to go somewhere with this… oh yeah! What happens when you combine the first question with the first answer? Not listening to your iPod while you’re at a concert, you dumbass, listening to your favorite band’s live album!

You know why metal bands are the best live performers? Because others aren’t metal. So now I’m listing the best fucking live albums… like… EVER!

Metal Militia strikes again

When I say “Metal Militia,” I actually mean cops who are busting on musicians. *queue Cops theme song*

So, we already know Paul Di’Anno will probably spend some time in prison for tax benefit frauds; last week Vince Neil started serving his 15-day sentence for DUI and speeding charges. And the latest victim of doing crimes and getting caught for it: former Alice in Chains bass player, Mike “Gangstarr” Starr. Apparently, he was caught with an illegal substance. At first we thought cops busted him with a Creed CD, but it was just unknown drugs. What will the Celebrity Rehab starr do when someone pays his $20.000 bail and he gets out? Will he appear in another season? Seriously speaking for a second, someone’s addiction isn’t anything to be laughed at, even though we’re kind of past that point already.
