Six Chimaira Under
The new line-up for the coming European Six Feet Under tour has officially been announced. Matt DeVries, rhythm guitarist of Chimaira, will be playing bass on the upcoming tour and join fellow Chimaira guitarist Rob Arnold and former Chimaira drummer Kevin Talley in SFU. So, three members of Chimaira’s selftitled line-up just joined Six Feet Under.
Apparently, they are currently rehearsing, including old Cannibal Corpse songs. Sounds great. I’m personally looking forward to the tour because I’ll see them live next Monday. Pictures of the band rehearsing and screenshots of the official announcements after the jump.

William Shatner is not only known for his role of Captain Kirk’s mask in the Halloween movie franchise. He’s pretty much not known at all, because Star Trek got a reboot and our target audience grew up listening to Linkin Park and watching Friends, the greatest sci-fi TV show of all times. Seriously, a guy like Ross would never bang Rachel in real life.
I kid (about William Shatner). He’s a cool dude, and he just got cooler in our little black book. Why? Well, he’s making a new album (and yes, he makes albums), one themed around heavy metal and space (just like Fear Factory, they make heavy metal and take a lot of space), and it’s announced members of Black Label Society, Queen and Deep Purple are involved. He will also receive an Honorary Headbanger award at the Revolver Golden Gods award. What a guy.
Passion for Ashba fashion
Do you have that passion for fashion? Do you wish you could look as cool as legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba? Well good news, because now you can.
DJ Ashba (who is actually a guitarist, not a DJ. Yup, more confusing than my sexuality.) has teamed up with “clothing guru” Cody Varona, CEO of Forgotten Saints (yeah, me neither), to “bring you one-of-a-kind custom-made clothing inspired by Ashba.”
So if you want to look like the deformed offspring of Pete Burns if he were to impregnate one of the Orcs from Lord of the Rings, then I guess today is your lucky day.
A match made in Hell
Blabbermouth recently reported that two of my favorite artists met backstage, and by which, I actually mean two of my least favorite “artists.” Alice Cooper and Lady Gaga both met backstage at one of Gaga’s recent gigs. It is at yet unknown whether Alice Cooper just went for make-up tips, or if some sort of musical collaboration is in the works. My guess is the former. At any rate, a picture of the two can be found after the jump in case self-mutilation is your thing.
In other news, my penis is big and hairy. Much like Lady Gaga Alice Cooper‘s hair.

Wow. Really? No timing whatsoever and he actually misses the cymbals. It’s not even worthy of my time.
