Google’s Freddie Mercury tribute isn’t getting enough love

As you know, Google usually finds quirky ways of redesigning its logo on the site based on that day’s event. Well, on Freddie Mercury’s 65th birthday, Google’s team of designers made an amazing tribute to him (watch above) which was just amazing to watch.

According to Blabbermouth, the ‘Doogle,’ as it’s called, barely made the Top 20 Best Google Doodles of 2011. It came in at number 19. WTF?

I know the guys can get very creative with those logos, but that is a 1:30 minute animation celebrating one of the best frontmen in history — and they did him justice. Why is it not in the Top 5 at least?

Anyway, watch it above and shut up! I guess you weren’t talking, only I was… Still, shush.
