Top 10 songs that make men do what?

Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer

The PRS for music have conducted a survey of the top 10 songs that make men cry. Metal Hammer reports. The following songs made the list:

1. REM – ‘Everybody Hurts’
2. Eric Clapton – ‘Tears in Heaven’
3. Leonard Cohen – ‘Hallelujah’
4. Sinead O’Connor – ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’
5. U2 – ‘With or Without You’
6. The Verve – ‘The Drugs Don’t Work’
7. Elton John – ‘Candle in the Wind’
8. Bruce Springsteen – ‘Streets of Philadelphia’
9. Todd Duncan – ‘Unchained Melody’
10. Robbie Williams – ‘Angels’

Now, to me this sounds more like a list of songs that make men contemplate breaking up with their girlfriends (the list is also known as your girlfriend’s romantic mixtape), or in case a man does listen to this, it’s because his boyfriend dumped him. The guys over at Metal Hammer have made their own top 10, with metal songs to cry to. We’re not sure if any metalhead has ever cried to a song, except if he was forced to listen to the new Linkin Park album front to back, but we’ll take their word. Continue reading to see the list.

1. Guns N’ Roses – ‘November Rain’
2. Metallica – ‘Fade To Black’
3. Black Label Society – ‘In This River’
4. Pantera – ‘Cemetery Gates’
5. Alice In Chains – ‘Down In A Hole’
6. Korn – ‘Daddy’
7. Rainbow – ‘Mistreated’
8. Velvet Revolver – ‘Falling To Pieces’
9. Slipknot – ‘Snuff’
10. Avenged Sevenfold – ‘Fiction’

If you happen to know another metal song that would fit this, tell us about it in the comments so we can make fun of you. To take the pressure off, I’ll start with a recent one: Fear Factory – Final Exit.
