Keep in mind we won't review music that does not fit the Dose of Metal requirements. Which means we don't review "cookie monster" vocals such as found in the Death Metal genre. Other than that if its Hard Rock (Glam,Sleaze, etc) or Heavy Metal (Speed, Thrash, Power, Progressive, etc) with clean vocals its perfect!

Album Review Info

All of the reviews appearing on this web page are done by the Dose of Metal staff and reflect each reviewers personal opinion. However, we certainly welcome any and all input.

Guide to Reviews

It's fairly self explanatory. Groups are listed alphabetically, and then respective albums are listed chronologically, from the most recent to the oldest. The albums are given a brief written review, and also a numerical rating. The rating system is from 1-10.

The ratings are determined by the music itself and mainly based upon
what might be referred to "listenablility" or in other words does the music create any desire to listen to it again and again.
