Okay, clearly they’re a few amazing bands on the bill. You also have some lackluster ones, but why on earth are Billy Talent playing? They target 16 year old kids that listen to My Chemical Romance, Sum 41 and Senses Fall. It just doesn’t make sense to add them to a metal festival when sharing a stage with Slayer, Testament and Machine Head. I’m predicting this will get ugly, really ugly. Ugly along the lines of when I witnessed Justin Timberlake live. He was getting bottles and garbage thrown at him when he played at a festival just before AC/DC (actually at Downsview Park).

If you’re interested, tickets go on sale Friday, March 25 for Heavy T.O and Heavy MTL go on sale Saturday, March 26 at noon. Tickets can be purchase here and here.
